Career Center Operations

In the event that the Governor declares a statewide State of Emergency (see www.mass.gov, or check local television and radio stations, e.g., WBZ 1030 AM, for details), all the Employment and Training Resources One-Stop Career Centers will be closed.  If the Governor issues advisories for individual counties, ETR offices will adhere to those advisories, and will be open or closed based on office location.

• ETR Marlborough and ETR Newton are located in Middlesex County
• ETR Norwood is located in Norfolk County

In the event that the public schools in the city or town in which the career center is located close or delay opening, the Career Center will be open at its normal time.

Workshops

If the public schools in the city or town in which the career center is located close or delay opening, the start times of scheduled morning workshops will be delayed by ½ hour.

For Example,

• 9:00 am workshops will begin at 9:30 am
• 9:30 am workshops will begin at 10:00 am

If you will be unable to attend a scheduled workshop due to the weather, please call the career center to let us know.
